This cultural project inaugurated by EGREM has been in operation for more than 12 years. La Casa de la Música in Varadero entertains the nights together with other nightclubs such as La Comparsita, the Beatles Bar and the cabaret La Cueva del Pirata.
Musicians and groups of diverse genres of the best of Cuban music have performed on its stage. Among the most outstanding performances are Juan Formell and the Van Van, David Calzado and the Charanga Habanera, Pupy and Los que Son, NG la Banda, Manolito Simonet and his Trabuco, Sur Caribe, Arnaldo and his Talisman and Bamboleo. His most special performances include the presence of the anthological bands Orquesta Aragón and Jorrín.
The invited musicians entertain the afternoons and evenings with attractive performances from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. The Cuban and foreign guests fill the floor to dance to the rhythm of salsa, timba, merengue or reggaeton, according to the invited group. After the show the recorded music comes and continues dancing.
In addition to the musical performances, the centre offers the audience the possibility of taking part in various competitions and awards. The bar is open all night long with all kinds of drinks and snacks.
The ticket price is 10CUC (cover) with special offers for university students (10.00 National Currency).
