Also known as “Teatro de los grandes acontecimientos”, the Karl Marx theatre is an opportune stage to get in touch with Cuban culture and enjoy the shows that take place there.

The Karl Marx is Cuba’s largest theatre and has an enormous auditorium, capable of accommodating around five thousand people. Its rooms represent a space where prestigious national and foreign personalities meet. Benny Moré, Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés, Joan Manuel Serrat and Fito Páez stand out among the figures of the music that have performed in the Karl Marx.

The previously named Teatro Blanquita, and later, Charles Chaplin, is today one of the main recreation options of the Cuban people, who come mostly on weekends, in the company of family and friends, to enjoy stone-setting.

Musical shows, dancers, humorous, contests and galas of different themes, are some of the cultural variety offered by the Karl Marx Theatre, with more than 60 years in the preference of the capitals and all Cubans.
